A diamond-coated end hook delivers 360° of grasping power and an integral belt clip release lever makes it easier to attach and remove the tape from a belt.

Great low light high visibility tape measure. I am a fan of Stanley tapes for everyday stuff. This tape is great for low light and aging eyes.

They've updated the 16ft and what can I say, larger end hook, and now every foot mark has the colors highlighted! This is my 3rd 16ft and they're all still alive but with these updates I'm floored! My only complaint was the end hook being hard to grab with thick gloves but NO MORE ✊🤠 Crescent Lufkin shockforce nite eye is the holy Grail of tape measures, very strong takes abuse, easy to seeread and it feels as if the 16ft body is slightly smaller making it a grand slam.

I've used these Lufkin G2's as a Framer and an Electrician Apprentice. I can't help but tell you how this tape is awesome. Clear and easy to read the fraction lines, it's great to hold in your hand and not too heavy with great standout.

I had a Stanley FatMax that eventually broke for no apparent reason, and this was the best replacement I could find. The dark color is easy to read, even in sunlight. And it has held up well for the last few months. Will update if I have any problems with It

Strong durable tape. Bought a second as a replacement haven't had to use it yet. Been months I usually go through a tape every 3 months. Still brand spanking new

One of best tapes I've ever used. Only thing I don't like about it, is that if the blade gets wet and then wound back up, the coating/measurements will flake off the blade.

One of the best tapes I’ve ever used.Excellent build quality and clear, easy to read markings. It has your standard 16” and 19.2” for framing but it could also be a great tape for general construction, plumbing, electrical etc. It has a very wide blade and the standout is really good. The first six (or so) inches have an additional coating to help protect the tape - nice to see as this is typically where tapes start to loose accuracy or degrade.Even though it has a wide blade, it’s one of the smaller 16 footers out there. It feels good in the hand and has a nice “heft” to it. I keep this one in my belt and the 35ft version in my toolboxes. The entire tape is rubberized and has a metal “roll-cage” to protect it from drops and daily abuse.

There’s nothing too special about this tape measure, however it’s had its share of drops and it’s holding up better than any I’ve had before, and I love the aesthetics of it, it’s a little bit heavier than the usual tape, but not too bad, it’s readable in darker areas, and when it comes back in, really nice feel. Only thing is that the 17ft reach is kinda bs. But with the other features, it replaced my Milwaukee magnetic and my fatmax, would recommend to anyone looking for a nice tape for a good price range!

I Really like these tapes. Double sided numbers, great contrast. The body is heavily armored for drop protection. I find it even a little too armored for the tape pocket on my pouches. Had to go from a 25' to a 16' to fit my " Boulder Bag" tool belt (electricians version).I have the 35' version as well. I like them all.Way better then the Stanley fat max version having markings only on one side of the tape.

3rd measuring tape from Lufkin within a 3 month period. The back stop on these things is trash. They fail all the time and you need not drop it to do so. Lufkin is such a well-respected brand, especially for measuring equipment. They are seemingly built like tanks, yet all 3 of mine failed miserably with little to no cause. I do not work at a construction site and I've never dropped any of the tape measures, but the first 2 I purchased, the backstop broke from a retraction of about 4', possibly less. They just napped off into the housing. The 3rd one, this Shockforce, Ive had since March and about 3 weeks ago, with nothing seemingly broken, the back stop will not hold the tape out past ~10". You can go ahead and label me insane, because I will be ordering another Lufkin after sending customer service at Lufkin directly, another message. I have the foldable measuring stick, 2 of them, with both being well over 20 years old and in perfect working order.

Good tape easy to read . Hard wearing only thing stopping me giving it a 5 star is can be clumsy to pull tape out while wearing gloves. Overall though good tape to have.
