I was impressed with this holder when I got it. It is sturdy and has a solid weight to it, so it hold the Scribe perfectly. It also rotates so you can have the Scribe in landscape mode. It makes it easier to use and I have been using it for a while and I haven't had any problems. I always leave it on the stand so I can keep it out of the way. It is collapsable so you can take it with you but I mainly use it at home.The Scribe has to be out of the case in order to get the best results and honestly it's not that big of a deal to take it out of the case. It's a nice looking stand and I'm happy with it.

taking off one star because the magnets are not string enough to go through a slim clear case. It has to be the base kindle itself. It holds the scribe where I need it and is easy to use when needed in a different position. Its got a little bit of weight to it.

Such a strong and beautifully constructed stand for the Kindle Scribe!The description stated this stand shouldn't be used with the Kindle Scribe in its case. The magnet is quite strong and holds the Scribe firmly in place. I've used it with my Scribe both in & out of it's case. I find that it works as well either way. My case is the Amazon magnetic leather case. A heavier, or thicker case, might not work with this stand.The stand is adjustable and collapsible for easy storage. It is exceptionally attractive and a pleasure to use.I tried using it with my Samsung tablets (S6 and S7+) but it doesn't work with them at all. The Samsung tablets apparently don't contain materials which will engage the magnets in this stand. This isn't advertised for use with those tablets so that doesn't affect my rating.This stand is expensive. Undoubtedly, that will be a factor for many people considering it. If you're willing to pay the price it is a terrific stand. I'm loving it.

There ate absolutely no magnets in the stand that I received, I tested multiple small items that it couldn't hold up much less my kindle. So with no magnets it does not hold the kindle, and every time I try to use it my kindle just falls off....

I purchased my Kindle Scribe to use as a digital notebook to reduce the number of notes in my life and all over my desk, for which it has been great. After a couple of weeks, noticed that I was losing my Scribe on my desk; saw this stand and, voila, there it is! This stand is very heavy and very high quality, yet compact. The Scribe magnetically sticks to it with no cover so on/off in seconds! I'm left-handed so I tilt it to the right and put the corner into the desk and I'm able to write and take notes just fine. It is stiff enough to resist the weight of my hand and the pencil while writing. You could also use it if you don't want to look down while reading. It looks very decorative when the Scribe is turned off and the picture comes up. This is a must-have accessory for every Scribe Owner. Love it!4/26/2025 Follow-up: Finally received my Scribe cover and I'm happy to report that this awesome stand works with the cover on too! Not as strong a hold, but how cool is that? Still loving it!

I don’t have a Kindle Scribe. What I do have is a tablet and a small portable LCD monitor that both needed a sturdy magnetic stand. This fit the bill perfectly.Once I figured out which side was up (spoiler: the little end is the base, the big end has the magnets), it worked like a charm. And just between us, it also manages pretty well upside-down—though without the benefit of the built-in magnets, of course. Thankfully, it didn’t seem to mind my creative misuse and performed like a champ. The joints are tight enough to hold everything firmly in place, but smooth enough to comfortably adjust. And the brushed aluminum is built well and attractive.If you do have a Kindle Scribe, I'm confident this will beautifully handle all your kindley-scribey needs. As for me, it’s holding my little portable monitor nicely in place while I type these very words. (Speaking of "while I type these very words", I just barely noticed the 360° swivel capabilities on the mounting surface. Amazing! Does it also do laundry?)

This is perfect. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. I love being able to read on my kindle without having to hold it. It makes reading and eating breakfast at the same time so much easier. The magnets are really strong and the part the kindles sits on is smooth/soft leaving no worries that it will scratch the back. The stand is really sturdy and heavy duty. It stays in place well but you do have to have it angled just right so it doesn't get top heavy once the kindle is on it. If I want I can even turn it to landscape mode, I probably won't need to do that often but it's nice to have the option.
