My son absolutely loves this ukulele! He has others but this is his favorite by far!

Great for my 8 year old taking ukulele lessons! The sound is beautiful compared to an Ortega ukulele he has. The artwork is also done beautifully.

Gorgeous ukulele with great sound, much better quality than the less expensive ukulele I've previously purchased. The design is gorgeous, as are the pearlescent tuning pegs. The strings it comes with are somewhat more flexible and you don't need to break your fingers off trying to hold them down. Comes with a gig bag with straps. Love it!

El ukelele tiene muy buen diseño y acabados, la calidad del sonido es muy buena y está muy práctico para aprender a tocarlo y alegrarse el corazón con sus notas.

This is way beyond my expectations! What a beautiful instrument in both sound and vision. This is a joy to play and I can't put it down! It's flawless in its manufacture. None of the negatives I had read in reviews here or elsewhere (and there weren't many) exist for me. I am a beginner in every sense of the word and understand there are better pieces out there but this works for me and it has a great price tag. Iam going to enjoy this. As to the Amazon process... Amazing! Ordered it on a whim Saturday afternoon and was playing it Monday before noon lunch. Perfectly packaged and seamless in its delivery. I am very impressed! Thank you

I just got this Ukulele yesterday and I'm absolutely in love with it. I'm a beginner player so as for the quality of the sound I may not be the best judge in comparing it to higher end instruments but compared to my last it is a significant improvement (very standard cheap touristy uke I took traveling). This Ukulele is absolutely beautiful, the picture on the front is very well done and it shines a bluish green on the neck and back of the instrument. I bought it out to play in the sun and had to stop and stare for a while. I'd say if you're thinking of buying this and upgrading from a cheap street or starter uke go for it. If your a professional I'd probably skip my review and look at a few very helpful more experienced players reviews but know this, you may stare at it a bit more than playing the first day. Wow, no regrets in spending this $100.

Love this uke! It's the first one I've owned although I've tried out a couple before it. The decal is good quality won't chip and the ukulele itself has a good quality feel to it, unlike those $20 dollar ones you sometimes see. The sound is really good as well and isn't annoying and cheap like the sound some other ukuleles would produce. The shipping was fast and it was packaged very well. The gig bag isn't top quality but it's good enough for everyday use. Overall a great first uke to own. The only thing lacking here is the quality of the tuning pegs. The little white knobs are fastened very securely to the tuning mechanism itself so they sometimes vibrate and make a rattling sound when I play. This can usually be fixed with a little glue though, so no big deal.

I used to play the guitar in high school. But I learned to play the uke only three years ago, on Makala sopranos while on a cruise to Hawaii. The ship musician/instructor suggested two beginner brands, and I decided on the Leolani soprano and another from the Hawaiian Ukulele Company. Both have been preset with good geared tuners and could hold the tune for weeks. I like the Hawaiian Company ukulele a little better. It is set lower and has a more solid sound. This Xmas, my wife surprised me with a concert uke. Unfortunately, I had to return both the Kohala (I think it was made by Lanakai—not sure) and the Kala, because I had a tough time tuning both of them. My wife told me to research it and order the one I liked. I'm a visual artist so I want a uke that sounds great but is also nice to look at. After reading the reviews at Amazon, I opted for the Luna Great Waves concert ukulele. I'm glad I did. I'm so happy with this uke!The Great:-It came with Aquila strings that have been factory preset. Tuning it was a snap-It came with very good tuning gears. I've had it for two weeks now while traveling in the Grand Canyon and Joshua tree and it had held its tune with only minor tweaking twice that period.-The Aquilas are set low and easy to play.-The sound is deep and solid, almost like a guitar, much better than the high sopranos. The Good:-The uke is nice to look at, doubling the pleasure of taking it out of the gig bag and playing it. The graphic could have been brighter (it has a matte finish), but some people may prefer the toned down approach. It certainly stands out from the usual brown ukes in the market today. The Okay:The gig bag is not padded enough. But it came free and should still keep your uke safe.In summary, I love this uke. It's deep and resonant as a musical instrument should. Definitely an instrument to make music on. Most certainly not a tinker toy. If you're looking for a piece that you can carry around in your travels, this is it.

I got this ukulele for Christmas last year and I absolutely loved it. The design is really pretty and gorgeous. I play it almost everyday and it's good quality and it'll be worth your money. When compared to my friend's ukulele though, mine was a slightly lower sound and pitch than hers. I'm not complaining but if you want more of a higher pitch sound, go with something else. But the sound difference isn't that noticeable. It fits perfectly in the concert bag and overall it was a good purchase for me. I didn't find any problems with it at all.
