I ordered this as one of the last pieces I needed for a small wine-making project. Upon initial inspection, everything looks solid - with the siphon pump, tubing, bottling wand, clamp, airlock, and stopper all being included. Everything feels really solid without any "flimsiness" - which does not necessarily signify that it will be effective, of course, but is a good start. The materials feel sturdy, and everything fits together nice and tightly. The tubing, however, is a bit stiff. This is somewhat standard and probably for the best - presumably with a little heat it would loosen up. So far, no complaints in the quality department.While this isn't necessarily a reflection of the product itself, I feel it is important to mention that the product packaging it came in (while not overly-glamorous) did a good job protecting the very fragile pieces inside. This is a good bonus from the makers.

Review for LURKA Auto Siphon for Wine Making, 14" Mini Siphon Pump with 6 Ft Tubing, Bottling Wand, Clamp, Airlock & Drilled Stopper – Complete Siphoning Kit for Mead, Beer, Kombucha, Home Brewing & FermentationI don't use airlocks that much but having them in this kit with stoppers saves you piecing that together and is great.For me the pump and bottling wand are the main draw, I was using a similar pump which was fine but it didn't include the wand so I'd be fumbling with the end of the hose and more than once had it jet out of the bottle I was filling and spray wine around.The wand stops this, a way to secure the hose would've worked too but is more messy with how I liked to keep my hose coiled.This is a great deal for what you get the pump, wand, stoppers and air locks. There isn't anything else I needed to get for wine making except a hydrometer to check alcohol levels but I only ever used that when I started. If you follow recipes and know what you are doing you don't have to proof it.

The auto syphon in this kit actually worked without disturbing my yeast cake. The stoppers of made of the clear-ish type material, they are firm, but a little squishy. The airlocks are of decent quality. The bottling wand .... I still have yet to find one that is not a little leaky, but since every one I have ever used has been leaky - I guess this one works as good as all the rest. .

For the price this is a very nice siphon and air-lock kit. The siphon is pretty standard, but the fact that you can also get four air-locks included is what really makes this product stand out. The air-locks are a slightly flimsy plastic, but they get the job done.The siphon works just fine. It's similar to other auto siphons on the market and performs as you'd expect. It's pretty durable and relatively easy to clean.The air-locks and stoppers are really the stars of this kit in my opinion. I've used other methods to bleed gas off when I'm making mead and they just don't work as well as an air-lock. I'd feel better if they were made of durable glass, but they're good enough.

This is a nice kit if you are just getting into fermenting your own wine. It has airlocks with matching corks, and the siphon so you can easily rack it off to the next container to clarify your wine.
