Your cart is empty.The Grip Step receiver hitch step provides a convenient stepping surface on the front or rear of the vehicle. It installs using the receiver tube opening and can be attached or detached as needed. The shank fits most 2" x 2" receiver tube openings (may not be compatible with certain receiver adapters), and it has a 6" drop to give the step added clearance from the rear bumper or spare tire. It includes all necessary mounting hardware for attaching the step and comes with a hitch pin. Like the rest of our Grip Step line, this hitch step features a unique, expanded metal tread for superior traction in any type of weather, and a 7" x 2-1/2" rectangular design to offer reliable footing without any of the nonsense. It is built from a 5052-H32 aluminum alloy, making it exceptionally strong and putting rust in its place (NOTE: The shank for mounting this step is included but shipped separately).

The step and hitch platform ship in two separate boxes though purchased as a complete set. Had to call Amazon customer service to request the other half to be shipped. Step is very sturdy and the metal is heavy gauge. Black paint was scraped off of the steel hitch part so I spray painted it black to prevent rusting. I would recommend this product but ordering elsewhere

the item seems good quality but i only received the step part with no way to attach it to my van hitch. The male tube part seems to be missing. after returning the item for a replacement, the replacement showed up in a box that seemed to be open prior and once again missing the tube portion of the step. terrible supplier service, i tried to contact the manufacturer directly and the told me to process the return through amazon. i dont think amazon has the full product in stock. I would not recommend this product to anyone based on that

This is the third time that I have ordered this step and only received the step portion without the part that attaches the step to the hitch. I wish that there was a way to contact the shipper because this is out of control.

Product came incomplete (twice). • "HIGH-TRACTION. This Grip Step hitch step features expanded metal treads to offer exceptional traction and safety. The open tread design also helps knock dirt and debris off your feet when climbing up into your vehicle. Without the metal treads my feet just slip off. Also does not look right without the treads.

product arrived in a damaged box with the insert part of it missing so it is hard to give a fair review of a product I am returning because I only received 1/2 of it.
