This red rattan is really good quality. Other types tend to have very inconsistent quality throughout but this is very consistent. The thin material that glued side by side to the 1/2" width has all been dyed well too. This will make for great colored accents on baskets with other neutral colored reeds and raffia. I ordered this specific color for basket weaving in the fall. It is also a great amount of yardage for the price. I definitely recommend this to basket weavers and crafters alike.

I’m actually using this to make a rice hat for my Labubu, LOL! I love the material since it’ll look more realistic. I did rip it in half since it’s a little wide. But since it’s a thicker, more stiff material, it does get a little hard to work with, but still possible to weave with a few hacks.
