  • First, check that the unit is properly connected to the speakers. Make sure that the left/right channels are connected correctly, as incorrect connections may result in no sound output or damage to the speakers.

  • If the auxiliary jack is connected to wired headphones or powered speakers, the unit will automatically disconnect the speaker output. Unplugging the auxiliary cable automatically switches to speaker output.

  • When using a DC12-24V power adapter, turn the main power switch to the left position before applying power, then insert the DC plug into the DC hole on the back of the amplifier, and then insert the 12-24V power plug.

Works great, only complaint is that every time it turns on or changes input it loudly says what its doing. Cant disable this or adjust volume. 'BLUETOOTH MODE, CONNECTED' 'LINE IN' tried muting when switching input, nope. Tried turning all knobs low as they would go. Nope. Great device wish i had volume control on the system alerts

This is a great little amp. The Bluetooth works great and it has impressive power for the price. I received it yesterday and had it setup in 5 min. ran speakers for 6 hours straight at 75% volume and the amp never got hot. Sound quality was great and the bass and treble adjustment were a nice touch.

I have a few pairs of speakers that I can use this one. I also have a few other amplifiers to compare it against.Pros:It has a lot of power. No issues with hiss.I didn't notice any distortion with the speakers I tested. The bass and treble knobs help with getting the right sound. The Voice Cancellation function.Good selection of connections. Is well made, solid and hefty.Con:Dependency between what can be done with the remote versus what can be done with the physical controls. The colored lights. The remote controls a secondary set of control state that takes over once used. As in, if you use the volume knob to adjust the volume, that value suddenly gets used. Then if you use the remote for the same action, the last value from the remove gets used. You can turn the knob to a hypothetical volume of 10, while the remote is set to 1. Then if you press vol+ on the remote it goes from 10 to 2, instead of the expected 11. Basically, this walls you from using both control options. To get a seamless experience, you need to use one or the other.Once you figure out what set of controls you are going to stick with, I think this unit will be just fine whatever you need it for. I'm conflicted because with the voice cancellation function it could make some spiffy rear speakers for a fake surround sound effect. But I want to only use the physical controls. That function is not an option with them. Anyway, this amplifier could easily turn into yet-another-device-that-becomes-significantly-less-useful-without-the-remote.In my opinion, this would be a much better product if they spent less resources on the lighting effects, and more on ways to bridge the gap between the dependence on the remote for some of the functions. It would be less of a deal if they had made the physical controls less physical and more digital—that's not a new idea.I do think this amplifier is worth the price. I'm not disappointed in that aspect. I will get good use out of it, I just wish it wasn't so divided in how it's supposed to be controlled.

does not disconnect speakers when headphones are plugged in. Remote only turns unit on an off all other buttons do nothing. Voice announcing mode is way too loud. useless for my application.

The whole concept sounded perfect for my intended use but unfortunately there were some problems that made it completely unsatisfactory.1) The BT connected, and worked very well and sounded okay with my smart phone but when I switched the amp to the optical output from my high end CD player, the sound was very very distorted just like it is when a CD is played through a video disk player.2) The volume control works very strangely; when set to low levels it seems normal but there is a point at which the volume output jumps noticeably and the sound becomes distorted. I say "distorted" even though it is not of the typical clipping, harmonic or intermodulation type. Instead artifacts associated with digitizing become apparent and very objectionable.3) The LED lighting surrounding the volume knob can be very useful when setting the controls but also visually very annoying when not turned off once the controls are set.The amplifier appears well thought out and well made with quality components and if it weren't for the distortion when using the optical input, it would be a very good amplifier.

Based on the latest Motorola chip this amp is amazing sound wise. The Bluetooth capability is a bonus. My daughter teams the amp up with a pair of Polk bookshelf speakers. The only annoying thing is the power block is the same size as the amp.
