I install this in less than 20 minutes. Easy directions to follow. BE AWARE once installed you need to move the shocks one side at a time. They are so stiff, if you try and shut the hood once installed you may have an issue. So be gentle the first time shutting the hood. Or better yet compress the shock once by hand before installing. Hope this helps.

The parts specifications are out of tolerance and required modifications. The oval slots on the underside of the hood are not the same size, which requires one set of tabs to be filed or grounded down and rounded off to fit. The bracket on the engine bay for the battery side required filing to expand the slot so the bolt could line up with the hole. See the gray outline for help.Pro tip, finger tighten the brackets on the underside of the hood on both sides so they can slide and adjust. Tighten the engine bay brackets with a socket and add the two shocks one at a time. The brackets on the underside of the hood will adjust on their own in the slotted holes and then tighten bolts with socket or wrench. Never let the hood fly up as those shocks are pretty stiff and forceful. Keep a hand on the hood till it opens to its maximum angle.

So easy, it took me 10 min max. I would've given 5 stars, but it seems flimsy. Everything did fit perfectly.

I had to grind the pieces which go in, not a big deal. Maybe 2023+ broncos had two different sizes of holes. On both sides one got in nice but the pieces for bottom holes needed a bit of grinding. Happy with the outcome, why won't Ford not put these own for a $90K vehicle?

They work as intended once I got them installed. The instructions are terrible, even the video online has someone’s hands in the way so you can’t see what they are doing. Like many other reviews I had to grind down some pieces so they’d fit. I even had to drill out some hardware because the existing holes didn’t line up on my 2023.

This product failed on so many levels. I was optimistic about these particular hood struts due to the upper brackets that spread out the load on the hood. The Bronco hood is aluminum and many of the strut designs out there put the load on a small area and can cause damage. When I tried to install the upper brackets I found that the silver backing nuts did not fit in the lower holes. After about an hour of filing on them I was finally able to make them fit. Then I went to install the lower brackets and they did not fit properly either but I was able to MacGyver them into place. Then came the worst part. I installed the struts and I found that they were WAY too strong. I pulled down on the hood and could see it was starting to bend and I heard a popping sound. That was it for me, I'm done. This hood is made of thin aluminum and if I had continued to try and lower it I'm 100% sure it would have damaged it. I wasn't able to lower the hood so I can't confirm but it also looked like the passenger side strut would have hit the washer fluid reservoir. At this point I'm good with using the hood prop, the slight convenience of having struts isn't worth trashing my hood.

Package was missing two of the oblong shiny nuts for the blind holes on the hood. One of the hood brackets was slightly bent. Disappointingly low quality from what should be a high quality product.
