I was able to Add 2 TB memory for my MAC Mini extra ports came in handy as well. The Mac mini did not like my wireless mouse unless I unplugged it and plugged in again, the extra usb port on the front solved that problem. Highly would recommend getting this unit. The only con I have I wish they made 2 TB memory slots into this so I could have 4 TB for expansion

I'm very impressed with this little hub. It succeeds in making my Mac Mini very stable standing on its side, and all the ports it adds are very needed. Most importantly, I was able to seamlessly add a 4 TB NVMe drive. I haven't needed to use the SD and micro SD slots much, but the USB-A ports make my Mac mini a lot more flexible for all the peripherals and eternal drives that I use on a regular basis. My Mac mini fits perfectly in this stand. The only thing I don't like is the brand name emblazoned on it. I'd rather they put it on the bottom so that I can at least pretend that this is an Apple accessory and not a weird brand that I've never heard of before. Still, this is a great little dock at a good price.

I've had this for a month now and it has held up without issues. The stand looks like the same metal and color as the Mac mini so it seamlessly blends with it and pairs well. There is foam padding inside the slot so you don't have to worry about metal-on-metal contact with the stand. Once the Mac mini is slotted, the unit is pretty stable with the Mac mini on it with not much play with the Mac mini sitting in the slot.I've been using the 3 USB-A ports and the SD card slot at the same time and it hasn't run into any issues with functionality. Haven't used the SSD drive slot yet so can't speak on that though that is a nice touch to be able to add another drive that is effectively hidden.Only knock, because the main USB-C connection cable is built into the stand, should that ever fail, you would have to either get the stand repaired or replace it since it would not be possible to simply unplug and change the cable. Since it does not move much, there shouldn't be much wear and tear on the cable. As long as the cable construction holds up, it should be fine. All in all, a sleeker, more streamlined design alternative to your usual Thunderbolt Hub, with the added feature of a SSD slot.

The PULWTOP Mac Mini Dock is a great addition to your M4 Mac Mini. It has the look and feel of something that Apple might have designed. With the new Mac Mini shipping with a minimum of 16 GB of RAM, the only thing that needs a boost is the pitiful 256GB of hard drive storage. This dock lets you add up to 4TB of NVME SSD storage hidden in the base of the dock. The additional ports are a much-appreciated bonus as well. To top it all off, it provides easy access to the power switch. In addition to testing this with the Mac Mini, I plugged it into a couple of Windows machines as well. While the built-in stand was not useful with these, all the ports worked fine, and an NTFS formatted SSD worked perfectly in the internal drive bay. Even the 3.5” audio port showed up as a USB headphone port in Windows when I connected my desktop speakers to it. This dock is extremely useful to have on your desk. It provides a cost-effective way to expand the storage and connectivity of your Mac Mini at a very reasonable price given the excellent build quality.

When I first bought this, I didn't have great expectations, but I was wrong. It really works well and better than I ever expected. It's convenient, a nice stand and the M-2 SSD went in really easily. As a matter of fact, the tools to do it even came with it, to my surprise. A single cable connection to the Mac Mini. It has not had one single issue yet in the month or so I have been using it.

The PULWTOP Mac Mini M4 Dock fills in some of the blanks that are missing from your M4/M4 Pro Mac mini. The most obvious need for backward compatibility are the lack of USB-A ports, The PULWTOP Mac Mini M4 Dock gives you two standard USB-A/USB2 ports with 480 Mbps speed and one USB-A/USB3.2 Gen 2 port with high speed 10 Gbps capability. The lack of a SD or micro SD slot on the Mac mini is filled by the DS/TF slots on the PULWTOP Mac Mini M4 Dock. Additionally, the PULWTOP Mac Mini M4 Dock includes an extra USB-C USB3.2 Gen 3 10 Gbps port to augment the ones on your Mac mini.An added bonus of the PULWTOP Mac Mini M4 Dock is the inclusion of an M.2 NVMe slot in the bottom of the dock. I installed a 2TB Samsung NVMe SSD on the expansion slot. Installation was very simple and the SSD fit perfectly with the thermal pad provided with the PULWTOP Mac Mini M4 Dock. The build quality of the PULWTOP Mac Mini M4 Dock is excellent, all ports are secure, the SSD enclosure connector fits perfectly, the SSD cover fits precisely, and the dock itself is very sturdy and nicely finished and the dock is padded where the Mac mini sits. Additionally, the way the M4 Mac mini nests in the dock places the mini's power button exactly where you would expect it to be - on the back of the mini, not underneath the mini.Last but not least is the M.2 NVMe enclosure in the base of the dock. This slot gives you a the ability to add up to 4 TB of solid state storage, which is great. However, you will need to keep in mind that the PULWTOP Mac Mini M4 Dock uses USB 3.2. Gen 2 connectivity with your Mac mini. This means that the overall performance of the SSD will be limited by the speed of the USB 3.2 Gen 2, which is 10 Gbps. But also keep in mind that the PULWTOP Mac Mini M4 Dock is completely powered by the USB bus and does not require an additional external power supply. You can use less expensive SSD storage because the SSD peak performance is not going to be a limiting factor. With this in mind, you should look for an SSD that has good thermal performance and durability rather than extremely high speed. With that said, running a disk speed test on the enclosed SSD yielded very good speed results for a USB3.2 Gen 2 drive, with stress test results in the 800-900 MB/s range. This is still far better than the 130-250 MB/s you would get from a HDD connected via the same USB bus. All in all, having an SSD slot in the PULWTOP Mac Mini M4 Dock is an added bonus in addition to the port expansion that the dock provides.

Connecting 2 external drives, camera, monitor, mic - don't know how I would have done all that without this hub. Haven't even installed extra internal drive. Like the way it sits on desk. Only downside is lots of wires.
