It works. It really does. My husband uses it for speakerphone when he's in his weld shop, or just to drop his phone on when listening to a podcast or something. He hates bluetooth, so this was perfect. The trick is, you have to line up your phone's speaker at the back of the unit. There's something in the back that picks up the audio from your phone and sends the sound out the unit speaker in the front. Also, if you have a pop socket or another accessory on the back of your phone case, just lay your phone on it with the screen down (and your phone's speaker toward the back!). That's not necessarily great for video, but it works for speakerphone, audiobooks, music, podcasts etc.It's actually pretty cool. So cool that we got a 2nd one as a gift for my in-laws so they can talk to us on speakerphone when they are together - now, everyone can hear each other clearly and we're all a part of the conversation. They love it too.

This did not do what we needed it to do. We requested a return. Amazon sent it to the supplier and said we should hear back from them in 2 days. That should have been by March 19th. We have not had a response.The item shows it is still pending and we can file a claim. How do we do that???We had hoped this would help by 88 year old husband amplify his blood sugar monitor when his hearing aids had to be removed at night. Unfortunately, it does not help at all.Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
