I initially purchased this style of Carabiners to Suspend Engines of Audi's to a crossbar engine support tool, now that I'm retired I use one to quickly secure the front of my PWC Cover to the Bow Eye on the Hull. I will update if this Carbabiner doesn't fair well in a Salt Air environment? (too soon to tell now)

Great 'biner, works as it should, wire gate appears to be plenty strong. Craftsmanship is great: no rough or sharp edges.

These Mad Rock ultralight carabiners are very light and very strong. Much thanks to Amazon for the best price and Prime for super fast shipping! I highly recommend Amazon, Prime and Mad Rock.

Love these little carabineers. I have several of them and they are slightly smaller than the ones I'm used to but strength rating is still plenty high. The wire gates are supposed to be more reliable than older style heavy gates during a fall. Overall high quality and nice price.

Initially there was confusion to buy either this or the Black Diamond Neutrino, but thanks to OutdoorGear Lab bought this as it is relatively new, well rated over the Neutrino and feather light! You have to hold it to believe it. :D The bent wire gate is better than the straight one and the color plus overall quality is top notch. For this and the quick shipping, a full star rating.Big thank you CampFour, MadRock and Amazon Prime!

OK- bought as a lightweight, high strength alternative to my Eagle's Nest Outfitter Hammock links- an ounce saved is saved when backpacking. I could not be more pleased- tough, sturdy, LIGHT- yep, these are 50's BOSS! (What we used to say- hey, I'm old...)

Bought these for use with a hamock. They work just fine. They are really light and the gate seems well made.

Used this as an accessory to an outdoor back pack to hold anything with a string or loop. Worked with everything from a sleeping pillow to multiple heavy Nalgene bottles. I know this is an actual climbing carabiner, but I didn't want to buy a cheap .10 cent biner and have it break or catch on everything we walked past.Good product.
