If you're new to Magic: the Gathering and want to build your own decks, then you need some way to get a lot of basic lands. This works just fine, and I haven't needed to get more lands since I got this. The box is also good for carrying your decks once the lands are taken out. If you think this is a bit too pricey however, you can just get lands from other players for cheaper, since most collectors have not just mountains of spare cards, but forests, plains, islands, and swamps of them too. People giving away/selling their collections have plenty of these too. However, getting things used typically means that the cards are in worse condition and getting them is less reliable.

I just started getting into deck building to play with my friends and i needed basic land cards so I ordered this and I must say I'm impressed with the quality of the cards near new and exactly 80 of each with four different variations of each of the land cards for each of the mana types

A lot of people have enough land from opening boosters and whatnot to probably avoid something like this altogether, but for any new player or those of us who stopped playing for years and don't have the old cards anymore, this is a really fantastic way to restock. I got 82 forests, 79 plains, 79 mountains, 80 swamps and 80 islands in my station so sometimes it may not be exact on each type but that's OK.This station works perfectly for me in that I print my own proxy decks to play and printing land is a waste so this does a great job at alleviating that, and for booster drafts or teaching a friend or just sharing at your local shop makes this an ideal choice for any occasion.
