Purchased the whole kit once and returned it. I found the magsphere xl to warm up the scene (skin tones) too much for my liking, I know there’s post production but I’m a believer of getting it right in camera as much as possible so I decided to give it another shot and bought just the reflector, put the diffuser mag gel and a 7inch sock over the front (fits perfectly) and I got the middle ground i was looking for. More natural skin tones. As far as softness, nor the sock or the mag sphere help this is a small modifier. Is hard light compared to the smallest softbox. Love the durability and flexibility, packs anywhere.

All good! Increases light one or two stops. Protect light if falls. Collapses for fitting in case for traveling.
