Using state-of-the-art 3D scanning systems in the design process, the MagnaFlow metrology department ensures this new part to fit and function like the original equipment.

This direct-fit catalytic converter is designed specifically for the 1999-2002 Toyota 4Runner and interchanges with OE parts 17450-75020 and 17450-62050. The included gaskets & hardware reduce the possibility of a leaking seal while avoiding the need to reuse corroded factory parts for installation.

This replacement part is designed to meet or exceed California Air Resource Board requirements, and has undergone additional testing to comply with CARB guidelines to allow for legal use in California and CARB restricted states, for the listed vehicles.

This item arrived on time and was a direct fit replacement for a 4Runner factory catalytic converter. Replaced original without much hassle as advertised. Engine exhaust is noticeably better and no faults so far.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM! Magnaflow does not honor their 5 year warranty! Purchased on July 2015. Check engine light came on. Mechanic indicated it’s a Catalytic Fault. Still within warranty, I contacted MagnaFlow and was instructed to contact Amazon. Amazon attempted to contacted them directly through 2 separate emails as well as a phone call, and was unsuccessful at contact. MagnaFlow has made no attempt to contact Amazon or myself. Amazon had to directly step in to take care of matter. (MagnaFlow is also no longer on the list of California CARB certified catalytic converters, there’s no need to wonder why...)

This is a perfect fit! My 2001 4Runner had a very stubborn p0420 code. I changed the 02 sensor and that didn’t do anything so I went with this Cat. Be prepared to use a cut off grinder to cut the old rusty bolts off After that go to the local auto parts store and get some zinc coated bolts and lock washers and slap on your new cat! Go through the correct drive cycle and you’ll be good.the new cat will accept a bolt on or screw in type of 02 sensor. You can cut of the studs on the new cat if you have the screw in type. Anyway the you then have to go through the drive cycle for this 4Runner to have the code cleared. Drive 3 minutes at 40-50 mph and then 7 at 35-45 without stopping. Your code should clear.

Overall this is decent product and the install was fairly smooth. If you are buying this for an 01/02 4Runner just know it will need modification. The bung for the O2 sensor is the post style instead of the screw in type. I was able to remove the posts and thread the bung to work with the screw in O2 sensor. My biggest complaint is the material, it claims stainless but the only place a magnet didn't stick was on the welds, so if it's stainless it's low quality. Aside from that it went in easy and my CEL has not come back.

Fast delivery. Had it installed by a mechanic and was almost a perfect fit for my 2000 Toyota 4 Runner SR5 4WD. Other than a minor adjustment it was enough to make me pass California smog test.

(1999 4runner) Bolted right on to factory location, no additional hardware needed, took me about 20 minutes to install. Works great!!
