I get a lot of cold air from my LP fireplace that I no longer use. I previously set up cardboard and towels to prevent drafts but I gotta say, not the most elegant sight. The blanket kept the area draft free and looks nice as well.

I recently snagged this magnetic fireplace cover and, wow, am I impressed 🌟 The quality is top-notch; it's made of this thick Oxford fabric that feels super durable. The inside is packed with quality sponges, and the sewing is so neat – talk about attention to detailInstalling it was a breeze. The magnets are super strong (1.2 T strong to be exact) and cling to the metal frame of the fireplace without any hassle. No more cold drafts sneaking in And for those without a metal frame, they've got you covered with an easy hook installation option. 🛠️Since putting this up, I've noticed a significant drop in the chilly air making its way in during winter. It's a real energy and money saver, keeping the heat where it should be – inside And during summer, it does the opposite by keeping the hot air out. Talk about a year-round MVP. 🌞❄️Another bonus is how it blocks fireplace ashes from turning my living room into a mess. Plus, when it's not in use, it folds up easily and doesn't take up any space at all. The black color blends in perfectly with the fireplace, making it practically invisible.Oh, and if you're worried about after-sales support, don't be. The customer service sounds super responsive and ready to help if you need it. 🙌

As in pictures there are giant gaps between the fireplace frame and the item itself. The hooks themselves sticks out so if using the hooks for just hanging the item won’t bock the air from escaping or blocking cold air getting in house. The magnets are also not useful. Won’t recommend anyone wasting money buying it.

Personal review followed by pros/cons for: Fireplace Cover Blanket, Magnetic Fireplace Draft StopperI was pleased with the re-usable packaging it comes in- kept the item safe during transport and good for storage when not in use. The cover itself is good quality material that feels like it will stop drafts without issue. Diamond stitch pattern makes it look high quality. True to size in description. Came with the mounting parts as advertised: magnets, hooks and sticky-mount hangers.While I needed this to stop drafts, I primarily needed the lower portion of my fireplace covered - so I did not need a perfect fit. I got this knowing it didn't fit my specific fireplace. My image of it hanging and not fitting "properly" is not a fault of the product! I installed it upside down so the grommets wouldn't be as noticeable, as I did not need to hang it.Magnets were a bit weak compared to the thickness/weight of the cover. They would work in tandem with the hangers to keep it up without issue. However, if only using the magnets, it could come loose with stronger drafts. I used my own industrial magnets to hang it instead.Pros:+Durable material+Measurements true to description+Includes hardware for mounting+Good price pointCons:-Magnets are on the weaker sideOverall, at a 20$ price point at time of review, I would reccomend this as a decent buy. Would purchase again if I had a second fireplace to use it on.

I have 4 fireplaces in my home that just let out so much heat in the winter time, and I needed to find something to stop that. The main one I have issues with is the living room. This particular fireplace has metal surrounding it, so I thought this would be perfect. Unfortunately the magnets in this stopper were too weak. The magnets are spread out all around, but I think it would work if I had them all at the top and maybe one or two at the bottom. Since it has the pockets for the magnets it was a bit difficult to change the positioning. The material itself is very light weight, so I was surprised at it not being able to be held up. I decided to move this into a different room. It is being held up by suction cup hooks on stone. So far you can definitely tell a difference. Overall, if you want it for it's magnetic property, skip this one, but if you don't mind handing it with velco or hooks a different way, this one is good!

This is such a great help with keeping heat in the house instead of constantly escaping up the chimney!! I've noticed a MASSIVE difference ever since I put it up. I did have to do a little adjusting as it's slightly larger than my fireplace, but having both magnets and hooks to choose from made it easy. I have Airstone around my fireplace so the hooks weren't really an option, but I was able to get enough of the magnets to attach to make a difference. Even without that full seal, it keeps more heat from escaping than anything else I've tried. This is a must-have for anyone with a chimney!

This magnetic fireplace draft cover came defective. One of the corner pockets for the magnets was not sewn on. It was just a flap and the one side that was sewn was unraveling. Makes it useless for me. I got it for the magnetic attachment. It is a shame. It is thick quilted material. The magnets are strong. Too bad poor quality control.

This fireplace blanket looks much better in real life than in the seller's photos. The seller also doesn't list the product dimensions hence the headline above. My photos were taken minutes after removing the blanket from the vacuum sealed bag so the creases should ease over time.I didn't use the black sticky hooks provided because I thought they would look bad on my beige surround. The magnets fit securely in their pouches & hold up the blanket just fine. I have a very narrow strip of metal on the sides of my fireplace so I had to play with magnet placement to get it to stick.Overall a very nice product!
