I installed the JTYZSM Magnetic Phone Mount in my 2024 Jeep Wrangler and overall, I'm pretty satisfied with it. The installation was quick and straightforward—no complicated steps or extra tools needed. The quality feels solid and durable, which is always a plus. One fun detail: the tray fits about six ducks (three on each side), and they sit in there perfectly, which I know some fellow Jeep owners will appreciate! As for the phone mount, it’s functional but not perfect. It doesn’t offer much swivel flexibility, so the phone ends up sitting fairly high. As someone on the shorter side, I find it hard to get a comfortable viewing angle. That said, it still gets the job done, and the overall design looks great and blends in well with the dashboard.

Install was a breeze! Fit perfect… the only complaint I really have which is personal preference not a defect in the product… If the mounting nut for the swivel had a larger inside diameter the mount would tilt down a little… in vertical position the phone is ever so slightly titled back and I would prefer it tilt down just a bit.

Works great but not thrilled that it will not angle down enough. Its not a 180 turn radius so you can’t take a picture from it.

Super easy to assemble, and good quality! I was concerned the phone placement would obstruct too much of my view but it really doesn’t and isn’t distracting at all. In fact, it’s less of a distraction because I don’t have to look down for gps directions I have an iPhone 11 with a magnetic case and it works beautifully. My phone is secure on the magnet holder.

I like to go off-roading, a LOT. And no matter who I bring, my wife, kids, brother, parents, etc., nobody knows where to put their phone. The middle console is too small for a Galaxy Ultra phone, the cup holders are, well, holding cups, and the little dash pocket by the windshield is too small and clunky for my phone. Plus, given the lack of Wireless Android Auto, I have to have my phone out and plugged in somewhere in order to use it. It fits nicely on my lap when I'm driving on smooth roads, but offroad it's impossible to keep there. It's super annoying. In past vehicles, I've tried those little phone holders that suction to my windshield, adhere to my dashboard, and clip on to my air vents. They were all horrible. The windshield suction mounts inevitably lost suction and dropped my cell phone (don't forget that these little things we're addicted to cost around a thousand dollars a piece!!!), the dash mounts would damage my dashboard with extra strength adhesive, and the vent clip mounts were just horrible from the get-go, not to mention they blocked the air vent.Given this, you can imagine my excitement when I FINALLY found way to bring my phone with me off-roading, all while increasing the storage capacity of my dash pocket (is that what it's even called?). The installation was crazy easy, almost like Jeep WANTED me to get this and put it in there (they probably did), and the fit was absolutely perfect. I saw on the site that there were two options: one with a magnetic attachment and one with a traditional phone clip for phones without magnetic cases. I went with the magnetic attachment.I knew this was a bit of a gamble, since a magnet might not old as well as a clip. I was very pleased to find that the magnet is super strong, leaving me with little doubt that it will fall off on even the roughest trails. But if I do have concerns, even though I got the magnetic attachment and not the clip attachment, BOTH the magnetic AND clip attachments were included in the packaging! Maybe they were both listed in the description, but if so, I completely missed it. Having both options is a great feature. Both attachments are designed to fit on a ball/socket connector. This makes it super easy to adjust the position of the phone: from left to right, up to down (but not too far down, given its proximity to the dashboard below it). This flexibility means my phone isn't just being STORED here, it has become as second screen to complement my infotainment screen that comes with the jeep. This is particularly useful since I use one App on Android Auto, but I also like some of the features on another app, an app that isn't available on Android Auto. Now I can have both out and ready at all times.Phone aside, the pockets themselves are really handy, far better than that of the OEM pocket insert. Rather than two awkwardly-small compartments with one large, but super shallow, compartment, I now get two very large, very deep compartments. This design is so much better, as it gives me much more storage space for what I actually need. I never knew what to put on those small pockets the jeep has.The final thing I'd like to add is I believe I can attach my GoPro and other cameras to this mount. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm certain I have a mount for this very ball.I wish I got one of these LONG ago.

When I first looked at the instructions, it skipped the most important part. It starts off saying to remove two screws from the dash storage area. Looking at mine, it didn't have any. What I had forgotten about is that there's a liner on the bottom of the area that must be removed first. So I thought it wasn't fitting and I was disappointed. It's a strange angle to try to look in that area but when I did, I barely saw the outline of the liner in the bottom. I slid my pocket knife down into the edge and popped it out and from there, it was a breeze! Two screws come right out, the new piece slid right in and I put the screws back in. Perfect fit and it's awesome. Also, the phone mount section comes with both the magnetic and standard type of phone mounts. Don't worry if your phone isn't magnetic. They sent a ring too that will adhere perfectly to the back of most phones to hold on to the magnetic mount. This insert is made from solid plastic. It's good quality and provides some depth for storage in your duck pond, or whatever other craziness you might want to put in the dash area. Definitely works great, definitely worth the money. I'm very happy to have this thing!

Fits the 2023 Jeep gladiator JT. But I did find that my phone gets extremely hot when the temperatures are above 74 to the point I would have to take it off of the holder and put it down around my console. So beware if you live in states that get very hot in the summer…… Otherwise I would’ve given it five stars if it wasn’t for that one but major problem.
