Magnetic system not strong enough to hold hide up slides down to the bottomThe details are nice the hide is much bigger than expected very heavy considering it's supposed to be suspended above the ground the price is decent for scale but not it's intended purpose

As far as the item goes it is pretty bulky and the magnets are ok but with the eyelets it sticks out alot but easy to remove. The hide itself smell really strong like paint or polish so not sure whats the main reason for this but maybe washing it really good will help but id recommend if the smell remains it may not be good for your reptile.

Product smelled so strongly of paint that it burned my eyes. I put it back in the box and the smell lingered for hours. The inside also had a few sharp points that could hurt the gecko.

HORRIBLE smell upon opening. Magnets do NOT hold up what so ever. Avoid buying this product as it is entirely not worth it. Cheap and not safe for any reptiles.

This is a great hide for arboreal or climbing reptiles. I have mourning geckos and it's a bit large for them, but I put a few dry magnolia leaves inside and they feel more secure hiding in between the layers. I think it would be great for a crested gecko or anything else of similar size. The food dish spaces on top are a good size for holding the geckos' plastic food cups. I don't put the food directly on the hide as it would be a pain to clean. It holds well to the side of the tank with the magnets provided and the geckos really appreciate having a high hide.

my bearded dragon likes to bask on the top, it have not noticed any additional heat in the cave itself but i also only stick my hand in. I will be testing with a thermometer this week.
