I ordered this magnetic phone mount for a slightly different use case and it worked perfectly for me. I needed a replacement for an existing phone mount in my car that has the ball screw on mount to upgrade to a magsafe holder. This one fit exactly and I didn't have to remove the stick-on mount bracket that I already had in place. The kit comes with everything you need to modify devices, including an iPad holder which I've not seen in other mounting kits. It was really easy to put it together and has held up well. The magnet hold the phone securely in the car while driving, I didn't have any issues with wobbling or the phone moving at all while driving.I'm so happy to find this, it was exactly what I needed and for the price it was a great deal!

I purchased this MagSafe camera stand to be used with an older tripod to record a concert. It worked fantastic as a MagSafe holder for my phone camera. The magnet was plenty strong to hold a large iPhone on the stand and sturdy enough that it kept the iPhone video image from jiggling. The only issue I had with this stand was it was hard to get tight and position in the right orientation. There was no way to alter the direction and get it to tightly snug on a fixed tripod. I understand that at this price point that feature like this might been impossible, but I think it would increase the rating and functionality of this product.

This magnetic adapter is made to work with MagSafe, which I love. It allows me to effortlessly swap phone grips, kickstands, wallets, wireless chargers, and now, using this, connect to a tripod by just placing it there.I got this to use with my iPhone 16 Pro, which lives in a , but it’ll work with any MagSafe phone or phone case. Magnetic mounting has become ubiquitous, and they’re even making it for Android phones now.The plan was to use it on top of my tripod at family functions to allow me to set my phone up in a flash, and to let others snap their phones on it, too.But when it arrived, I realized that it also worked on the I use to make videos and just hold and charge my phone when I’m at my desk. The ball part was the same size (17 mm), so I simply swapped the existing clip for the magnetic part of this mount. It’s the bomb-diddly.Magnetic strength-wise, it’s very powerful. So strong that I have to use two hands to get it off, unless I leave the smaller circular part sticking out to the side. If I do that, and I usually do, I can push off with my finger on it, while I grab the phone with the rest of my fingers.I would guess that anyone who thinks it’s not strong enough is either using it in a fighter jet or without a MagSafe case. It does come with several stick-on rings to use with the mount, but I doubt they’d work as well as a case made for it. YMMV.Anyway, I absolutely love this magnetic mount. I’m ordering a second one to go on my tripod, and if I can figure out a way to use one on a selfie stick, I’ll buy a third.I hope this helps!

No instructions for putting together. The ball comes right out of the ring! Had to find videos from other sellers to figure out how to get it to function!

Solidly built and attaches firmly to MagSafe compatible phone or case. Much easier to use instead of a phone-mount clamp or adapter.

I purchased this as someone who doesn't use an iphone. It comes with a magsafe adapter ring to stick to the back of your phone. However I use a case with a magsafe adapter, so I did not use that part of the product. This works well with my case and easily mounts to a standard tripod. I purcahsed this item primarily to use it at our church for Easter photos. That way families with iPhones will be able to easily setup their phones for photos with our Easter photo backdrop. It has worked exactly as I wanted it to.
