Works perfectly on rMBP10,1 (Mid-2012). Tested on Anker adapter and X1 Carbon power adapter with no issues. Charging/Charged light works as expected and stays cool during charging.

Want to reduce overall power bricks. Since USBC PD is next gen trend, USBC to magsafe2 adapter is needed. So far USBC PD can supply MacBook Pro 2015 without issue. Power meter shows 50W of output through this adapter.

While these adapters are a great way to connected a USB-C power supply to a Magsafe 2 Macbook Pro, they tend to fall off the Macbook connector more easily than the Mac power supply Magsafe 2 tip. I think that's because the unit bulges in a way that makes its case hang down below the edge of the Mac, so that any bump during handling catches the case and dislodges the connector.Out of three of these units I've bought, in one the tip came loose within its case, so that it would no longer extend outward far enough tp grab the Mac.

It works fine, just was a wrong part that I ordered so I returned it. Totally user error. Packaged nicely and delivered fast. A quick return as well.

Working so far, just make sure you're using a powerful enough wall charger. I originally was using a 47w Anker, which works but not when the laptop is under load. I had to buy a 67w Anker which has been working fine.

This is way more affordable and convenient than buy a charger specific to the laptop.I use this with my SlimQ 240W charger, so now it can power my Razer Blade laptop as well as my MacBook Air via the USB-C port.

Can not charge, see images that I have attached, it's defected inside out. Dent and burning pins.

I was skeptical at first when doing research to find a replacement Magsafe2 charger replacement for my 2014 MacBook Air. My concerns were poor magnetic connection and overheating issues as mentioned in reviews of similar adapters. I am happy to report that after two months of owning this: no issues.I am currently using this plugged into a spare "Square Terminal adapter with USB-C with Power Delivery" with multiple power ratings ranging from 15W, 5V, 3A to 60W, 20V, 3A. Which is probably why this adapter has worked so well.
