Easy to install and adjust. However, be careful not to pull it too tight, which was our mistake the first time around. Heavy towels with wind pulled the connector apart. After adjusting the line to allow for some bowing, it worked perfectly.

We strung this between two trees in the yard, as a trial run into the clothesline world. The line is heavyweight, holds a ton, and is super sturdy. The kit was easy to install, and took less than 30 minutes.

Do not purchase this! This item did not hold up at all. After organizing all my clothes for a garage sale I went out the next morning and the line had snapped in all my clothes were all over my garage floor. It definitely does not hold the weight in which it is rated for!!!

This was far nicer than I expected for the price. Very heavy duty for laundry and I suspect some of the savings was in making me put together everything. A little patience and a third hand will make sure it all goes together. After that you have a nice stainless line running. I bought the stainless clothes pins at the same time and every looks great.Be sure, before you buy, that you have a place to actually screw into. It uses an expansion bolt at each end, so it must go into a stud (4x4 even better). It can go into a tree, but I suspect that a living tree may be less secure.

UPDATED 2024 - I've added pictures to this review to show how this kit has held up AFTER SIX YEARS of constant use.Original review:I wanted to create a taut line to hang tarps off of the edge of my back patio, to shelter my tools from blowing wind & rains. After visiting Home Depot and the local Ace, I couldn't find all the parts I needed for under $50. Got home, searched Amazon, and this kit pops up.Received it THE SAME DAY, and took the kit apart to inspect, and was shocked at how high the quality was on every component. Everything is, in fact, stainless steel, and built solidly. (Note that you'll want a 7mm nut driver at hand to tighten the cable bolts that are provided.)I installed everything last night, (I used my own eye bolts, not the provided j hooks) and the taut line is currently holding 25' of blue tarps, securely, and has held through last night's wind and rain storm. Not a single thing has come loose, or shows any sign of failing.2023 update:I want to update my earlier (2018) review. Almost FIVE YEARS later, and through this month's monsoon grade rain and wind storms, I went out to inspect the hardware that I had installed. There is not a speck of rust on any part. I've never had to tighten any fastener. I've replaced the blue tarps a half a dozen times, but EVERY part in this kit still looks like it is brand new.
