I used Makita's 4 1/2 inch diamond tipped segmented blade to cut flagstone for a garden path in my back yard. So far I've cut and fitted about 75 ft of pathway and used 3 blades. Im happy with their cutting ability and longevity although, admittedly, I have little experience cutting stones.

I sculpt stone that is medium to hard, from marble to granite. I've tried the major brands of blades. Usually I get an hour or two use from a blade. These give me twice that.The coarse grit makes them good for roughing out. They are not suitable for polishing or making finished edges.
