The material on this is not slick. It sticks to cotton, even to cotton, so it completely defeats the purpose of wearing pettipants or slips--to create a smooth finish. I was wearing cotton underwear, and tried on these pettipants with a cotton dress. The pettipants stuck to my underwear and my dress, creating several bulges and wrinkles.

These MANCYFIT Pettipants are very comfortable under dresses. I ordered my usual size and the fit was as expected. They do a great job of preventing chaffing, especially in the warm weather. I feel more secure in pettipants than in a slip because they won't fly up with your dress in the wind or when getting in and out of a vehicle.
