I used this repair kit to fix the Manhasset 48 stands (that come in a 6-pack). The plastic between the stand base and top is breaking on my stands after years of use. I had to keep the extra metal rings from the old stands to be able to tighten the stand. See the photo.

Got this in hopes to fix a Manhasset Voyager that the clip had failed on. This one worked great for a few months...alas, it's loose again...won't say on the part of the stand that raises up. Also dumped my music on the floor at a rehearsal. Tightened the nuts to keep the table in position...but it still pops off the pole/rise. I'm moving on to other brands....done with Manhasset Voyager. Have had 3...first version was best...but it was destroyed in a car wreck. Subsequent stands just aren't made as well, it would seem. This replacement neck assembly is in the "don't buy me again" category, as far as I'm concerned.

I wasn't sure from the photo if this item would work, I took a chance and glad I did, it is so much better than the old piece that broke. It was simple to put on and it makes it so easy to put the stand part on and off by a simple half turn to loosen or tighten. I've had my manhassat traveler stand for so long, it will last longer than me!

Wanted 0 star but not an option. This is NOT a stand but just a stand part. So I will be shipping back and ordered another actual stand. Picture is false advertising. They should show part and not full stand! Description is also deceiving!

This is false advertisement. The photo pictures a stand yet the item shipped is only a small part of a stand. I feel that this is clearly meant to be misleading as I have purchased parts for musical instruments before and the seller ONLY posts a photo of the item being sold. I contacted Amazon Customer Service and made them aware of the issue and the rep promised a replacement and assured me that I would receive a complete stand. The second shipment contained the same small piece. I don't think Amazon is aware of the seller's decsption either. Amazon has issued a refund request & I hope to be able to purchase & receive an actual music stand in time for Christmas.
