The combination came on time and well packaged. The knife was exactly what I expected and fairly sharp, it only took a few minutes to touch up the edge. I was demonstrating how the can opener worked to a grandson, who is a Boy Scout, and he slipped it into his pocket. When I used the knife to shave a fire starter stick he asked to see it and thanked me as it disappeared too. Both knife and opener are well made and I know he will use them for a long time.

My father had tons of these great pocket knives from his time serving in the U.S. Marine Core in World War Two in the Pacific theater. He gave quite a few of them to me over the years, which I still have a few in my knife drawer. I wished I had taken one with me on my deployments to Iraq, just to have said the knife served in two wars, but I forgot I had them. I saw this on Amazon one night, and knew I had to buy one even though I have several already. I think it's great, and it's just like the ones Dad had from the 1940's! Semper Fi Dad!!

Llego a tiempo, muchas gracias Amazon.

🇺🇸🛫ANG/USN/USAF(ret.)/USCG(civ, ret..)...My dad served in all. He gave me the original Camillus version when I was ten...and it was a reliable tool through a great Tom Sawyer/Huck Finn-like childhood of fishing, camping, and every day use long before "EDC" was ever a term.🙄 Sadly, I lost it somehow passing into adulthood (along with many other good knives)😖, and forgot about it in the mists of time. Forty years later I needed some new EDC knives... when I saw this repro, those childhood memories came rushing painfully back all at once..I gasped and literally got an ache in my chest. I'd completely forgotten about my good ol' US Camillus! 😯😭🔪 (which never *ever* broke, twisted, or snapped btw!) Needless to say I *had* to have this reproduction! And... it's not a bad repro at all, actually! It's nice to again feel those smooth metal scales with the somehow weirdly satisfying sharp metal edges lol. The blade is sharper than my old Cami. The best part of this knife is the can opener (on the knife, not the spoon)- it's the absolute best one ever put on a pocketknife, no contest! The keyring attachment is a bit tight however, and it's marring up the nice shiny metal scales, a minor niggle. Sprayed it all down with Liquid Wrench Silicone protectant, let sit, wiped dry, then a pinpoint drop of light machine oil in each pivot and wiped again. Then I sat with the closed knife in my hand, rubbing those weirdly satisfying smooth scales...lost in the memories of a childhood in a better, more simple era drifting through my mind. God I miss my dad. 😢😞Today is Fathers Day. Now I'm a dad...got my boy his first pocketknife for his 15th birthday...hope he doesn't lose it! 😂😭**shoutout to *Charles Akens* for some excellent photography- it's now my phone wallpaper! 😁📷👍(my name is also Charles...so was my dad's!) 😢😞

This is my third Marbles MR278 "Demo" Knife.I cannot in good conscience recommend the MR309 "CAMP COMBO" (MR278 knife and the Marbles SPORK combination.)The MR278 in the Blister Pack/Hang Pack has all four blades half open. The backspring for the can opener and screwdriver/bottle opener blades was broken (no surprise) when I took it out of the packaging. I'm surprised both back springs were not broken, to be honest.Opening both blades on the same spring on this knife is a BAD idea. A broken backspring WILL be the eventual result. Not only on the Marbles MR278, but on the original Camillus "Demo" knife, and any 4 blade BSA knife, as well. The MR278 is a great knife. As I said, this is my third, and the first I've gotten with a broken spring. (I still have the other two, both of which I've had for years. Neither of them came in a blister pack/hang pack or with any accessory. Neither of them has a broken spring.)I've already contacted the manufacturer/ importer to get a replacement MR278 (only) under warranty. If not for the busted spring, I would have given it 5 stars.

DO NOT LET A SOUL SAY THEY DO NOT COME SHARP! I WAS OPENING WHILE ON THE PHONE WITH ANOTHER KNIFE, TO GET OUT OF THE PLASTIC CLAM SHELL PACKAGE. PULLED KNIFE OUT THAT IS IN THE OPEN POSITION, HIT THE BLADE WITH FINGER IN THE WAY, AND WAS CUT ALL IN THE 1ST TWO SECONDS OF OWNERSHIP! so, if you read "NOT SHARP"...it's bull! SHARP ENOUGH TO SLICE A FINGER AS THE BLADE SHUTS!NO BIGGY, I GET CUT ALL THE TIME.AWESOME, EDC FOR THE ADVENTURER TYPE LIKE ME....I'M A FISHING GUIDE/CHARTER BOAT CAPTAIN AND NEED TOOLS, TOOLS TO OPEN CANS FOR LUNCH, A QUICK AND EZ SCREW DRIVER, A QUICK KNIFE. AND THIS IS GONNA BE A KEY CHAIN SET UP FOR ME. NOT WITH MY KEYS, BUT ON A BELT KEY CARRIER. THE INCLUDED P-51 STYLE CAN OPENER AND SPOON DEAL IS GREAT. I'LL KEEP THAT ON THE BOAT.THIS MAKES A GREAT GIFT ITEM TOO, FOR WIVES, FRIENDS, RELATIVES, WHO ARE ''ADVENTURERS''.......OR MAYBE EVEN ''CUBICAL LABORERS" TOO, I GUESS.

Great product and well made. I would buy more of these for Christmas gifts when they are available. A Chinese copy a Camillus but they did an awesome job on the workmanship.
