I had to buy a tool to cramp it and I put epoxy on the fit inside on the wood side works good.

Too thin, tarnishing showed on day one. I had to buy another brand of longer fittings. The other set of fittings we 6” long, made with heavier gauge material and hasn’t tarnished at all. Also 1/2 the price of this brand. The difference in the two products is Night & day in quality.
