I bought this not to use with fish but with these chlorine deodorizing tabs. This little pump aerated the water and really got the most out of those chlorine tabs by pushing the fumes up and out of the water.I did find that the hose had curled back up and wasn't aerating the water so I'll have to figure that out somehow. Battery life was great and lasted longer than what was claimed and what I expected.

After the tornados that hit our town causing us to lose electricity my fish were without air for a few days. I could tell they were struggling for air.None of our pet stores had any battery operated bubblers.I saw this one here on Amazon and purchased it. Thankfully we got it the next day.It was in use for the next 4 days.It worked very well in my 39 gallon aquarium!. 👍Thank you so much!

I used this in conjunction with a Scheels bait cooler to keep two cichlids alive on our 2700 mile move from AZ to NC. Worked like a charm. Batteries lasted about three days before needing replacement which you could hear an audible slowdown of the pump when it was time for a new set. Only issue was the “quiet” part of this is a bit misleading. It is a fairly loud, as in it can be clearly heard from the next room in a quiet house behind a closed door. Still, all in all it did its job and kept my buddies alive for nine days or so until I could get their tank set back up.

Save your fishing minnows with bubbles.Highly recommend. Batteries last a long time. Recommend getting an electric unit for overnight storage. This is perfect for inside your boat. Easy. Just add batteries and turn on. Good price. Durable.

My husband is an avid fisherman. I purchased this air pump so he could keep his bait (herring) alive for several hours of fishing. He put water in a cooler, put the herring in, then attached the pump. Works great! Would highly recommend this item to fisher persons!

This unit works great, is water tight and the batteries last forever. I use these on our hewescraft 22 boat in the live well. Runs steady for 6 hrs a day and keeps all the bait alive. 2 alkaline batteries lasted me all summer. Best investment I ever made. Absolutely no corrosion in the box, and this is all on saltwater!

We just transported our two freshwater fish from L.A. to Memphis in a 5-gallon Craftsman bucket that we bore a 1" hole in the top. The tank heater was suctioned to the inside of the bucket and plugged into the cigarette lighter. We used this little gem for aeration and it worked perfectly! It runs on two DD batteries and we had it running 24/7 for 4 days straight. Only had to change the batteries once, which was less often than was directed on the box. It's a little louder than expected but still relatively lightweight and no louder than most tank filters.We HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone transporting fish.

They run great, are reliable, and I really don't take very good care of them lolMostly saltwater use, so they get wet, I don't put it together and put it back in the clear package like you can, but that's just me, seems it would hold in moisture,,, They corrode eventually or the little motor gives up, again, probably more from my lack of maintenance. They last for years. I've been using these aerators for decades in the salt and I still buy them today. Their insulated bait buckets are awesome as well.
