I have been using this style carabiner as a hook for my keys on the belt loop of my pants for 30+ years. The quality of this carabiner seems to be the best one I have purchased yet and may outlast me.I’m not sure what the maximum weight capacity rating is but in a pinch I tested it by pulling a vehicle attached to a cable 100 plus feet up a slight grade. Not sure what that weight equals to but I was impressed that it didn’t bend or break.As I said I only use it for a key ring hook so I surmise it will last do years to come.
