This blanket is very soft with the sherpa and the top is smooth. It's spring time now, and I'm hoping come winter this blanket will be nice and toasty warm. So far it does work and time will tell if it keeps me toasty on the cold winter nights.

I bought this because we traded up to a king sized bed. Our old blanket was thinner, got nice and hot, and had a very dim light do you knew if it was on or off. I’m still getting used to this one. It is luxurious and poly so it’s charm even when not on. It was hard to get used to the controls meaning you turn it on, set it, the light turns off and it’s on. Wasn’t sure when it would be off so I figured if I wanted it off earlier I’d have to turn it on again, set it, and let it go. It doesn’t get as hot as our last one. Just today I looked again online and all the blankets are like this one. Guess I have to be comfortable with that. Our old one, which I have, is over 20 years old. Peace ☮️.

Los conectores estan invertidos..del lado equivocado.Orden{e Grris, y los conectores los instalaron en ESE lado..deben de estar en el lado opuesto. Defecto de fabricacionAmazon no se hace responsable

Muy buena textura de la tela, calienta rápido conforme la temperatura deseada. Tiene cables largos, hay una amplia distancia entre la conexión de los cables y los interruptores y éstos a su vez de los enchufes. Apta para mantenerla fija y no enredarse con los cables.

Pros:1. Soft & plush.2. Not too heavy; great for elderly (with supervision).3. Fast delivery.Middle: 10 heating options & 10 - 12 hr time limits, but it doesn't heat... so... It really doesn't matter in this specific case.Cons:1. As with other reviewers, one side works & the other doesn't (it will not power on at all).2. When you'd plug in the one working remote: One side of the blanket seems to work as it should. Then when you take that same remote & swap sides, the other side seems to have some sort of heating issue. It was plugged in for hours and would get barely warm.3. Only a 30-day warranty & the product breaks just within or just outside that window. That's too much cash to waste for a dysfunctional blanket.Final word: You can take a chance like I did -OR- you can keep looking elsewhere for a more reliable blanket with a longer warranty. Best of luck to you all 🤗UPDATE: Received a replacement a couple weeks ago & having the same issue. BEWARE & buy another product.FYI:1. The blanket & controllers come in reusable plastic. You don't know if the item you will receive is a return or brand new.2. I returned a blanket since both controllers died in the 1st two uses. And the same thing happened with the replacement. Best to avoid this company at all costs. The replacement is now just a cheaply made, super expensive throw at this point; zero heating.

I love this blanket! It was a birthday gift from my mother! I suffer from bad RA(Rheumatiod Arthritus) severe almost, as well as, osteoporis in both knees and a torn labrum in my hip! This blanket provides the right amount of warmth for my achey everything. I love the large size and it has dual controls. My mother and I share it. She suffers as well with lots of aches and pains, so we can both set it to our own confort level. It isn't like a heathing pad, which is how I imagined it would be, at first I was a little upset that it didn't get hotter but than I realized that if it did no one could stand that amount of heat for such a long period of time. It also has a timer up to 12 hours and adjustable heasting 1-10. Although it I noticed that it had a stay on feature that I haven't been able to figure out yet. But if you want it to stay on that long I just set it the timer to 12 hours. The cleaning part is easy and it does come with instructions on how to perfectly maintain you blanket without harming it! So far this has been the best investment on a blanket. We both love it so much!! Thanks again so much!

I must preface this review with the fact we have used a heated mattress pad for years with no problems except that I had to put multiple sheets over it so I did not feel the wires. However, we recently purchased a "mattress in the box" and did not feel a heated pad would prolong the life of our new foam mattress. Hence the search for a heated blanket! I researched, and researched before deciding on the Marquess. This blanket is super soft and very warm, even without the heat on, which surprised the heck out of me considering how light the blanket is. It has a nice sherpa finish on one side which prevents it from falling off the bed; the top side is a soft velour. It is generously sized and I would estimate at least 12" on each side hangs off the bed for complete coverage. We turn the blanket on a couple hours before bedtime and the bed is perfectly warmed! At that point we turn the blanket off. From my research, it seems like heated blankets don't last as long as heated mattress pads so time will tell on that. I do wish a little more thought went in to the design of the controller; otherwise, I would not change a thing. I got the navy color and it is a rich and very pretty blue. We're really loving this blanket with our new mattress!
