Marshalltown DR390 Drywall & Plastering Rasp Without Rails
From the Manufacturer
Marshalltown 14390 DuraSoft Drywall Rasp without Rails removes 45 percent more material per stroke than other popular rasps. It will not clog or collect dust, and it works in both directions. The long-lasting premium stainless steel blade ends get into tight spaces, and the sharp blade can be used on other materials such as backer board and vinyl tile. The contoured DuraSoft handle ensures a good grip and less user fatigue.

It works well if there’s an edge and fits in pouches nicely but doesn’t really take off as much material as a traditional rasp

Not as quick at removing material as the standard drywall rasps but the design of this one creates less dust and it does not clog. Not sharp enough to cut paper cleanly but it is a very good tool compared to traditional rasps. I think the design could be improved a little but overall I really enjoy using this rasp. The contour and rubber coating make it easy to use.

the way the blade is designed it will cut both ways BUT, it will hardly knock down the edge of sheetrock. It is like it an old and worn out rasp, this was not worth the money. I am a Drywaller by trade and this is useless, will wear your arm out just tring to get smooth edge

This drywall rasp is way better than the one I looked at in the store. It cuts very well and is comfortable to grip even with Carpal Tunnel.
