Beautiful photos and patterns that can be adapted to more than just red and white color schemes.

If you like red-white quilts this book is for you. Nice classy patterns and are hard to choose from. Which comes first?

This is a great book that has definitely inspired me to work on a red and white quilt soon. The book is well organized with good instructions included with each quilt. Amazon did a great job of sending this order out promptly.

Red and white quilts are such classics. This is a good book for the quilting library, with traditional red and white quilts from a range of designers.

I am in the middle of making the Rolling Stone quilt in this book. Directions are precise and easy to understand. Most books like this will have a variety of patterns to choose from, but it is rare that more than one or two are appealing. This book is the second book in a red and white quilt series. I did not care much for the first one.

The 14 designs presented in this book are exceptional pieced quilts and would be lovely in any two-color combination. Several are based on antique quilts. The two quilts on the cover are "Soul Sister" by Pat Sloan (on the chair) and "Fireworks" by Jessica Dayon (draped on the cabinet)."Tickety-Bo" by Helen Stubbings is a challenging-looking, entirely applique wall hanging that measures 54.5 inches square. "Feather Your Nest" by Debbie Roberts is created using Hens and Chickens blocks (hence the name) that has a simple (but lovely) appliqued border.Only one quilt, "String of Hearts" by Gerri Robinson would be beginner friendly. This is a pattern book so there are no basic quilt instructions.Instructions are clear and pictures are presented very well.If I were given the opportunity for do-overs, would I buy this book again? Yes! I highly recommend it.
