This is my third palette of this kind. I have a large one and I am replacing the one a gifted to a friend for painting ROG mini. Keeps acrylic and acrylic gouache wet for a week or more. I love it, I can work at a slower pace and use less paint.

I use these palettes alot. They keep my acrylics longer than expected and if you use acrylic paint, you know how quickly they dry. So it saves a lot of paint. I have them in various sizes and I keep one cool color palette and one warm color palette.

I tried using other wet palettes, specifically made for miniature painting, but keep coming back to this one. It has the best sponge, it keeps the paint better hydrated than wet pallets with a gasket to seal the two halves, its just the best. Not my favorite wet palette paper for mini-painting- just too porous- but that's an easy thing to swap.

Too small, sponge doesn’t stay wet, paper curls up and underside sticks to paints on palette. I would not recommend this product

Found this smaller palette, a great size to work with. It is easy to open, paints store well and do not dry out.

I love this little sta-wet palette. I have several of them, and use them to take to art classes. I find the best way to work on them is to store your basic color palette here, and mix on palette paper. That saves space on the sta-wet palette. If you make a mix you really like, you can simply plop it onto the sta-wet. I would recommend using distilled water and cleaning the sponge regularly. It can develop a bit of a smell and mold if you are not diligent with this.
