I had one prior to getting this one and I loved it. Was great for getting a proper meat temperature. Never let me down. Bought this one because my original one broke 😩

Typically I'm not big on rejecting a product because of the way it arrives in the packaging. In this case it didn't help that it looks like it was sitting in a box that set in a flooded basement for 20 years. The thermometer has absolutely no weight to it at all plastic casing feels looks and is very cheap. I realize this cost 10 bucks but you're better off just keeping your money and going elsewhere cuz this thing sucks Amazon said to keep the product don't worry about sending it back. It's going in the trash rather then it clogging up a drawer
