Great for the coffee espresso person that needs to see at a glance what's up with temp. I just wait till it goes red and get a perfect brew every time!

It's good... if you plan on making a Jim Jones sized Latté. By that I mean... the actual thermometer needle is nearly 10", basically double the height of my 20 oz. milk frothing cup. In the end, I was able to scavenge the clip to a thermometer I found at home so I made it work--just not the entire product.

I used this temperature gauge twice to make yogurt. The first time I ended up boiling the milk. The second time I tested the milk temperature while heating with two thermometers, and found the Cooper stopped working and froze-up at 120 degrees (pardon the pun). I cannot return the unit as it’s past the 30-day return window. I suppose I can use for it now is as a tent-stake…

Nice and just the right size for a 20 oz frothing pitcher. Dial does not seem to leak and hold water when washing, which is not true for all stem thermometers like this. Would buy again.

Temperature readings have become inaccurate after owning it for a month or so even with recalibrations. I have only used it to measure essentially boiling water and ice chilled water. Just buy an electric thermometer to ensure you get good readings.
