Jsaux seems to be everyone’s go-to for handheld gaming equipment, I’ve got a dock myself. It holds the deck upright, without too much cable slack or dock slop, has reliable connectivity, my only complaint would be the port on the side and not having both HDMI and DisplayPort like the original steam deck dock. This is none of that. There’s way, way, WAY too much cable slack- I actually docked my tablet for giggles. The design leaves WAY too much space, and the handheld of choice flops and slops around. If you set it all the way back, there’s a bunch of room in the front, if you seat it closer to the front it sits at a super weird upright angle. The ROG Ally I tested it with barely stays in because of the weird angle. If it didn’t have the back it wouldn’t.The dock has three 5GBPS USB-A ports, and HDMI, “PD In” (type C) and Ethernet. I won’t be utilizing this in my setup anywhere, I’d personally recommend shopping something else. While it does do the job, it does it barely, and doesn’t do better at the same price which kills me.

Maxonar 6 in 1 Loot Docking Station (Hyper-Grip:I'm using mine for other devices like my iPad but mainly my Samsung phone that still runs Samsung Dex. This is a Windows like OS that Android phones will revert to if plugged in to a PC monitor. So through this dock, I can plug in my phone and use it like a PC.Around the back, the 2.4G receiver for the mouse is plugged in and the HDMI cable going to the monitor is plugged in. Additionally, I run a USB cable back from the monitor to the USB-C port to act as a power source for the phone.I done all of this so I can run certain indoor cycling apps and visuals on a monitor in front of me whilst I cycle; and instead of tapping on the phone, I can just move the mouse around. This setup motivates me to exercise more because it is pretty much plug and play now.It might even be possible to use this dock with the Switch 2 due to the dual positions of the USB-C port. The quality of the dock is very high but I find the main cable to be short and a bit too firm. You could probably find cheaper ways to do what I have done, but nothing will look this good, stand up your device and expand on its functionality.

The handheld it self it's really annoying, makin it into a computer just make everything easier, extremely recommend

ROG Ally owner here, the dock works just fine but does not do VRR. I have a HDMI 2.1 monitor and cable, and tested with different cables, but the VRR doesn't work. The item description and even the box it comes in states that it has VRR, but if that's why you're buying this product then don't, because it doesn't have it.

Been using the docking station with my Steam Deck OLED at my gaming desk and it’s been great so far. Makes switching from handheld to big screen super smooth and just feels way more fun to play on a monitor. Like how everything connects easily without a mess of cables. Setup was quick and now I just drop the Deck in and I'm good to go. Haven’t had any connection issues or weird bugs, everything runs really clean.

I got this docking station for my desk setup, since I often use my laptop and phone at the same time. I needed a reliable way to keep both devices charged and organized without them falling over or getting tangled in cables. What caught my attention was the claimed stability — exactly what I needed for my cluttered desk covered in papers. The station is made of matte plastic with rubber inserts that prevent devices from slipping. The base is wide and heavy, so even larger phones don’t cause it to tip over. No setup needed — just plug in a USB-C or Lightning cable (depending on the device) and it’s ready to use.Even if I accidentally knock it with my elbow, it doesn’t budge. My phone (a Galaxy S23 Ultra in a case) fits snugly without wobbling. The side arms can be adjusted to fit different device sizes, which is great when switching between a phone and a tablet — nothing feels loose.Despite being compact, it stays firmly in place even if the cable gets tugged. One time I stood up quickly and caught the cord — the device didn’t move! This dock has fully lived up to expectations: it’s sturdy, practical, and versatile. I no longer have to worry about my phone falling off the desk or having to adjust it every time I touch it. A solid choice for anyone who values neatness and reliability.
