The freezer itself is working fine. The delivery was 3 days before I got home and my neighbor met the delivery truck. They off loaded it and plugged it in. When I got home to inspect, a severe amount of frost and ICE had formed on both lids and around the inside of each box. Upon a complete inspection, the hinges were not seated correctly and was allowing a lot of cold air to escaped around the gaskets. I took the hinge covers off and re-adjusted to lids so they set flat and sealed completely. Now its ice/frost free and working great.

There seems to be an issue with the gasket/ seal on the door. Quite a bit of ice build up. This unit is just two months old and I have had to use a chisel and hammer to remove the ice build up once and it seems to come back FAST.....I would like to know if this is to be expected from this unit? Or if this is abnormal and if so, how to remedy!
