The M-D Hardwood Low-profile Threshold is designed to seal the bottom of your door from drafts, moisture, dust and insects. The threshold can be used to install with a new door or to replace an existing threshold. All of the hardware needed for installation is included. Before installation, the threshold can be cut to a desired length by using a wood saw. To seal your doorway, this product should be used with a door sweep or an under door seal.

I bought this nice looking oak threshold for an extra wide door opening. The last foot of overall length arrived with damage/unsightly/unusable. Not sure if this is a used product I’ve been sold or there was some insect damage at some point. I had to make it work because I didn’t have time to wait for a replacement. Be advised if you were hoping for 72” of beautiful appearance oak, this item may NOT be for you!!

Really large blemishes in the one I received. No, the package wasn't damaged at all. The box arrived in good shape and it was packaged well. The damage is inside of the plastic wrapping. As tempted as I am to return it, I need it so, lots of wood putty for me. Very disappointed.

Looks great. Works well. The only draw back is that it's extremely high and the angles extremely sharp. While the angles can be rounded off, there's not much that can be done about the thickness. Reminds me of the hardwood floors in late 19th Century homes.

Arrived in time and not damaged. Always a good thing. Exactly what I needed to finish floor transition piece into tiled hallway.
