The 32mm x 44mm foam tubes are great for insulating pipes. They so happen to fit 32mm tripod legs as well. No worries about wrap around covers falling off. Just cut to size, use some compressed air and voila. They protect the entire leg. The foam tube comes a little compressed and wrapped like a snake so it may take a little time to decompress. A warm hair dryer can speed up the process without damaging it.

Using this to insulate an outdoor pool filler pipe. Good quality, very dense and should insulate very well. Also should stand up to elements for a while. Plus it looks good. Glad I bought it.
