1.Replaced hour meter Comes with clips so you will need to crimp them, the clips use 16 ga wire, you also need to pull down the bracket that’s around the meter gauge
2.Insert the meter gauge in the hole in the control panel, then slid the bracket back on or use screws (you provide)
Notice: This is an analog hour meter, this one doesn't require a battery and as such, cannot be reset

The cheesee plastic mounting system is worthless. The bracket grip teeth just pop loose when you put a tight enough squeeze on it to hold it securely. Don’t buy it - you’ll just send it back like I did.

I bought this for my little generator so I could be certain of when it needs to be serviced. It works as it should. It would have gotten 5 stars if it came with a template but it's not that hard without one. Very happy with it.
