Replaced OEM harness connector which had deteriorated with age ( from a 2005 vehicle) and did not provide consistent blade contacts.Had to drill new mounting holes to vehicle bracket as OEM holes did not lined up flush to replacement unit. Small inconvenience and posed no problem to a good install. Reliable electrical connection now with new unit. Would recommend.

This plug can be wired for any number of accessories requiring a ready power source. I installed a winch in the bed of my truck to load and unload heavy items, like riding mower and anything I load using ramps.
