Would not hold 2 -# 18 wires. The griping threads are not big enough and the center whole is very small. Note price is for one connector only.

The small size is roughly equivalent to standard blue or orange small wire nutsThe medium size is roughly equivalent to standard yellow medium wire nutsThe large size is roughly equivalent to standard red large wire nutsThe jumbo size is roughly equivalent to standard grey extra-large wire nutsRead the wire nut application guide provided in the listing. It's accurate. If in doubt get the larger size. If you're toward the higher end of the application range, get the larger size. You'll be happy you did.Otherwise these are exactly what you need for high temp wiring.

I would purchase these again anytime, however you really do not need the small ones, as the medium size would work for those size wires and the only real differences is the cap size. You may need the large ones, if the wire is large, maybe around a 14 gauge, but remember these are being used in areas that are hot, and usually heated. So the wire size would be a size for electronic, or stove ignition and the wire size would not be large, usually more like what you would find in an old radio, or some electronic system. Medium porcelain cap will work in most cases, and these are great...good luck I just saved me tons of money by doing it myself.

If you are wiring anything that operates at high temperatures, this is the product to use. I found these to be of excellent quality.
