I bolted one of these directly to my battery without a housing. Tried to be careful not to strain the fuse body with the very thick candles. Probably not ideal but they seem fairly strongly constructed. Rather short of space. Seems to work OK at 80A without anything getting hot! Hopefully, it will blow above 135A if it’s ever tested.
