I could barely even fit a set of hi hats on it. Avoid this at all cost.

I really wanted to like this X-hat adapter but sadly it doesn't do what it's intended to do. It's missing one crucial component to be a useful device. The bottom line is when the hi hats are assembled and mounted on the cymbal stand they look and fit nicely regardless of the cymbal stand type but within a minute or two of striking the hats the bottom washer nut that holds the top cymbal securely vibrates loose and causes the top cymbal to unexpectedly drop onto the bottom cymbal. There is no way to lock that washer nut down like every hi hat clutch on earth does. Too bad it's going back..

Takes a minute to figure out how it all goes together but it is pretty stable and does fine. Strange choice of using plastic for the main wing-nut. It seems to be ok but in modern-day China, is a metal one that much more? And if so, how much? A penny or two?
