The GALAXY is held in one hand, while the other hand holds a beater, and it may be played something like a classical triangle. By slightly altering the position of the GALAXY, Liquid inside the two chambers exerts variable dampening on the Thin steel resonator plates.

The item was supposed to be a new purchase, item came nonfunctional and covered dents and scratches from heavy use. Guess I got the trash returned by another reviewer who received the same damaged goods.

The item arrived in a box that looked like it was dropped from the empire state building. It was not sealed or packaged well at all. The item itself has what appears to be water damage or dents of some sort. I'm not sure if it arrived in proper condition but it sounds very underwhelming. It doesn't resonate much and feels like it was quickly put together at a junkyard. This was a gift for the drummer in my band. I was hoping to surprise him with something strange and fun but I think he'll be disappointed. I'll update if he likes it.

It's a newly invented instrument. It sounds differently by holding it in different ways. You can grab the body or the coil. You can tilt it this way or the other way. It's full of surprises!
