The featured interchangeable 6-inch polishing pad comes with the wrench that can quickly replace it. If you want to use another different polishing pad, please note that the thread is 5/16 inch. Your pads must fit on the thread.

This was the second Mellif Cordless Polisher I have purchased. The first one I ordered arrived with the correct box, but inside the box was a used corded polisher that I ended up having to return & wait a month for a refund from Amazon.After the price dropped on this polished I decided to give it another shot & order one, & this time the correct polisher came. It seems to be decently built quality, & light weight, but I have not used it yet. The fact that I can use my Dewalt batteries on it & the low price was the main reason of purchasing it.

Does a pretty good job for medium buffing. When I was trying to work in some thicker areas and press down, the motor definitely was straining compared to an A/C powered buffer. But as long as I doing touch ups and simple stuff, chord-free trumps that.

I got this to have a buffer for my DeWalt tools, which did not come with a buffer. It's nice it comes with it's own type of battery and charger, but I wouldn't have gotten it if it wasn't compatible with the tools I have. I like the upper grab handle and ergonomics of it. For the price, it's own battery, and compatibility, it's pretty good.

Polisher seems well made and has a nice weight doesn't have that much vibration even at higher speeds and a fully charged battery lasted the entire process of compounding and polishing a mid size suv and Waxing it still had 2 bars of charge after also comes with a 15mm and a 21mm throw option if you want quicker correction for your car's paint and the speed goes up to 5500 rpms and is easy to use as a backup polisher if you professionally detail cars and do paint enhancements.

Unlock the real power when you use a 4a+ Dewalt battery. The supplied battery seems to be just enough to run it. Barely. But when hooked to a dewalt battery, you get atleast 20% more power.

I know this is the type of buffer/polisher you want. It seems very well-made and the battery/charger combo is obviously 1st rate. They include a spare (or possibly different) eccentric weight. Problem is, the documentation is scant and impenetrable. The spare part? Is it a spare, or a variant? Where does it go, and how do you get to it? Clues? Zero. For someone new to using one of these (me) are there any use tips for guidelines? Nope.The good news is the weather says I will not be using this for 3-4 months and I can figure it out. The documentation is such a mismatch to every other aspect of what seems to be a very solid piece of gear. If it all comes good, I will return to this review, but at this point three stars feels generous.
