What is Melt and Pour Soap Base?
Melt and Pour Soap Base is a pre-made soap that you can melt down, add scent and colorants and let harden inside your own molds.
It’s an easy way to make your own customized soap at home without having to handle some of the more caustic chemicals like lye or purchasing safety gear.
The soap base already went through the full saponification process (the chemical reaction that makes lye safe for skin), therefore you can enjoy your soap immediately, rather than waiting 4-6 weeks for it to completely cure as with the cold process.

Melt and Pour Soap Base Directions:
Cut soap base into pieces
Cut the Pifito Melt and Pour Soap Base into small chunks and place into a container. Heat soap in a microwave, at 30-second intervals, stirring between each one. Melted base should be smooth and liquidy, with no lumps or chunks. Alternatively, the soap base can be melted in a double boiler.
Add essential oils and colorants
Add colorants, fragrance oil or essential oil to the melted soap. If desired add florals.
Pour mixture into mold
Slowly pour soap into mold. Soap should be hard enough to unmold in a few hours.
Let soap cool until hardens
Once completely hardened, pop the bars out of the mold. You can use your soap right away.

I use a lot of pifito bases and this another great selection. I love being able to make unique soaps by using the sampler collections. Great quality!!! Never disappointed using it. Never had a sweating issue with these bases. They take color and additives easily. Nice hard finished bars.

I was immediately impressed by the packaging. It came in a sturdy flip open box. Each soap vase was individually wrapped in a heavy duty clear plastic. I immediately went for the hemp seed melt. I created an amazing soap with pumice, essential oils, magnesium, and CBD. UHHHMAAAZZING. I will be trying more. I love making my own organic soaps.

I think as far as price its concern it it worth it. I buy from a soap supply store and its about the same price when counting the shipping they charge me. So I compare it that way. Each block can make about 4 to 5 bars of soaps depending on the molds you use. I will buy it again because I simply love having the option of different scent and kinds of soap base. Perfect for a beginner. They are really lathery and not as messy as some other soap base that begin melting as soon as you start working with it. Great buy

These worked really well for pour soap. They are soft and seem to be a quality base. However, don’t count on the smell from them. You will need to add scents. I molded, added color and scents.

I wanted the opportunity to try a few different types of base, and purchased this pack. I was really surprised and pleased with the Hemp Seed base especially. Although, the was less lather than I personally prefer, everyone else that tried it really liked it. It holds color and scent beautifully. The other types were also really good, however the aloe vera base was my least favorite, due to the quick cooling and 'slimy' feel of it, while cleaning out the containers. Even with that, this was a great value for me and I know which bases I want to work with more.

I bought these for my mother as a gift for project we were doing when I visited last spring. We used about half of them and they were great! She used the rest and has ordered more. I have also recently ordered more for my own personal soap making. I love that I can have different types for my different soap flavors/scents. Great buy and so easy to use as well as a great finished product.
