This is a comfortable shirt to wear out on the water. I hate dealing with sunscreen wile trying to fish. So I wear these shirts all the time. It hasn’t gotten hot enough out yet to see how comfortable it is in the heat but it feels like it will be fine. It does run small so order up a size. Nice thumb holes to protect the top of your hands from getting burned wile holding your fishing rod. The sleeves are a bit shorter than others I wear but the fabric does stretch so it’s not a big deal. No strings around the hood to deal with. That can be an issue in wind as you can’t tighten down the hood but for the most part I like not having strings dangling in front of me. I like the way it looks and feels.

The shirt is great for sun protection and is comfortable to wear. I've worn it to lounge around, so I don't necessarily have to wear it when I'm outdoors. This hooded T-shirt also gives off a laid-back vibe. You get excellent sun coverage and some wind protection, but the sizing runs small, so I recommend going up a size. Pay close attention to the care instructions on the tag: machine wash cold regularly, and do not tumble dry to avoid shrinking. Overall, it's a fantastic addition if you follow these guidelines! It seems to shrink if you don't read the instructions, which is a problem. I think it also lacks in length in the arms and stomach area. When I sit down, my stomach gets exposed, and I constantly need to snag it down.

Despite the description, this is a heavier-weight shirt. The fit is tighter than expected - I ordered an XL and fits closer to a large. That said, it does seem to be well-made, and is a nice material. The thumb hole is in an odd spot, where a lot of the material overlaps your hand, and since it's heavier cloth, it puts too much resistance in your way if you want to use your hands in this position. I can certainly use this shirt on a cooler day, but keep in mind it runs small, and would not work well in warm weather.

Great shirt. I do landscaping in the summer and some mornings start out cool so this shirt is great as a layer to wear until it warms up. It's a thin material that dries quickly. It's also good protection against ticks if you're hiking or walking in the woods. Very lightweight and comfortable. I'm not usually a hooded shirt kind of guy but this adds tick protection for walking in deep woods.

This shirt feels really good. It does run a bit small, but I love the feel of it. It allows you to have a long sleeve but breathable shirt for those interesting days here in the mid west. Sometimes I'll wear it in the evening when it may be borderline too hot to wear but I know that it is going to get colder into the evening. I can also wear it under a vest and still get that great style and fit. I don't typically wear the hood but there is one. It is very lightweight. It is made of that airdry material that helps keep you cool in those really hot days.

I got this shirt specifically to use when scuba diving both before dives and in between, to help a) stay a bit warmer and b) protect my skin from the sun, and it works well for both of those purposes.Pros:Good quality material. It's a bit thicker than most UPF shirts, but it also doesn't have that glossy quality that most of them seem to have for some reason.Fit is excellent. I typically wear an XL in shirts, and this XL fits exactly as expected.The hood is large enough to cover my head without falling down into my eyes. The thickness of the fabric helps here, I think, as it just a bit stiffer than many shirts of this type.The price is excellent, as well. At the time I write this, it's $14.99, but normal price is only $16.99, which is a bargain for a sun protection shirt.The shirt doesn't have any big logos or other identifying marks on it, so it's nondescript, which suits me perfectly.Cons:If you want to wear this on a hot day to protect from the sun, the fabric might be a bit too thick for comfort.Bottom line: this is a high quality, functional, sun protection shirt and a great price. I would recommend it.

This was for my niece who is almost 15-years old and wore an Adult Small. She wore it in Belize for a deep sea fishing excursion, and with the hood up and sleeves down, was able to prevent being burned. It was a little thicker than other long sleeve dri-fit hoodies we've used before, but was still comfortable all day.
