This lightweight hoodie is made of a thin, stretchy, breathable polyester blend and was great for doing things outside in hot and sunny weather. We live in Florida so it was perfect for summer/fall yardwork or the theme parks when you'd need sun protection but didn't want to wear something like a heavier cotton shirt.Liked that it had the hoodie, so you could get neck coverage, and didn't need a hat. It also has thumb holes so you can cover your hands and can be rolled up small enough to be easily stuffed in a bag or backpack. The price seems very reasonable (~$15 at the time).

This is a sleek shirt that also fits women nicely. The hood is a good size - not too small, not too big. The color is true and is a nice earthy blue - not one of those weird tones that tend to clash with everything. The length is great. It washes and dries well, and so far doesn't seem to hold wrinkles. It's comfortable to work in.

I bought this in 4 different colors for myself as a female.I have a lot of womens styles of upf tops - jacket, full-zip, 1/4 zip, and some more 'fitted' styles. I like them all, BUT these mens fit are my favorites!They're the most lightweight of any I currently have and, living in Florida, that's what I was looking for. Good enough for a morning or evening with a bit of a chill or breeze and still PERFECT for the afternoon sun beating down! While lightweight, even the lightest color of them is not see-through (the light blue...I didn't buy in white and can't speak on that one), so I feel fully covered with just a small sports bra underneath.I normally buy womens tops in Medium and bought these in mens Medium as well. I was hoping for loose, comfortable, and a little baggy and got exactly the fit I was hoping for! The mens styles are made longer than any womens I've been able to find...also what I was looking for. I like that they cover my butt fully!The material is silky soft and feels nice against your skin. The hood is also a nice touch even though I don't use it very often. When it's not being worn it can add a touch of weight to the back that can shift the top ever so slightly, but not enough that the front is uncomfortable against your neck...no stars off for that tiny thing because that's the norm for basically anything with a hood, plus the shift is so minimal and doesn't bother me and I have major issues with feeling collars tight around my throat.

This upf hoodie was just ok for me. I have several others that i prefer. I really like upf hoodies with thumb holes and i really wanted to like this hoodie because its a good price point at ~15 versus more expensive models but it ultimately just wasn't for me. The design of the thumb holes here i think is good compared to others I own but i think one of the biggest detractors for me was the stitching that extends from the neck down onto the upper chest and the stitching across the shoulders and I just couldn't get past that. I had ordered an XXL based on the size chart and this also ended up feeling a bit larger than what I ideally wanted. I'm usually an XL in tshirts so i look for something around a 48in chest and per this chart that was the XXL but as I said this felt too large and maybe the XL would have been better for me but per the chart I didn't not want something too tight.

The fabric is definitely not dark blue by any stretch of the imagination. What I received is more of a gray-blue. Otherwise, the fit is good, and the comfort is okay. The fabric does not breath well probably because of its UV protection. I removed 2 stars because of the description. Otherwise, it is an acceptable shirt, if you don't mind the color variation.
