- Normally work with pilot burner holder and connect with safety gas valve to help the valve open the inside magnet act as a safety.
How to Install and How it works?
The thermocouple can mount with clamps or the nut
- The thermocouple gas kit include a thermocouple and a clamp, a nut 7/16-27UNS fits the pilot bracket split nut.
- The thermocouple open the gas valve around 5-10 seconds.

My gas fireplace is an old Heat-N-Glo 6000-TR where the pilot wouldn't stay on. I was able to remove the old thermocouple and try this one out, and it worked. But it wasn't an exact fit and I had to re-position where it sat so that it was close to the pilot.
