Don't buy these they are a waste of your money the tip of them is a point makes it hard for the cutting edge of the bit to cut your material and even then the don't cut worth anything. Wouldn't of even given one star but it made me pick one.

I’ve used about every spot weld bit on the market and I feel these are by far the quickest and most durable of all types I’ve tested. I’m only using these on soft sheetmetal spots. Haven’t drilled anything else with them.

These cutters for the spot welds do cut as advertised, but shank is very short. It has a flat side for a set screw, so not very ideal for a typical drill chuck. This should noted that are better suited for machine tools.
