This metal detector is so cute and has worked really well. It comes with everything you need - tools to dig, battery, and the detector. I wish it would come with a carrying case to put all the stuff together. The detector breaks down easily and is put together to adjust height perfect for a child. It is very easy to use for a child. The reason for 3 stars is it is more expensive than other children detectors on amazon and it does not show the depth of the item. But between the packaging, adorable detector, and the ease of use, it is am amazing present for any child. My daughter loves it and it will work as a first detector but she complained a lot about not know depth of the item like daddy's

Just got this today and my 4yr old son absolutely loves it! It works excellent, easy to use, and most of all family time trying to find "treasures"!

I gave the LOLARAN Metal Detector for Kids to my grandson as a gift, and he couldn’t have been more excited! This metal detector has been a fantastic way to engage my kids in outdoor adventures. It's lightweight and easy for them to handle, making our trips to the park and beach more exciting. The adjustable stem ensures a comfortable fit for both my 7-year-old and 10-year-old. The waterproof search coil allows them to explore shallow waters without worry. The simple interface is perfect for beginners, and the beeping sound when metal is detected adds to their excitement. However, I wish it came with a carrying case for easier transport. but my kids absolutely love using it.

I've been wanting to try a metal detector for a while so when I saw this cute fox shaped one, I decided to try it. I think the design is very cute and I like that the eyes light up when metal is detected. I know this is marketed towards kids, but as a small adult (5'3") the size is actually just fine for me. I like that it's just straightforward and easy to use without too many bells and whistles. So far it seems like it works well, I haven't found anything too cool but did find some pieces of metal in my yard. The only hard part is finding the metal once the device detects it, but I'm getting better at it with time. Time to invest in a bigger shovel. This is a perfect gift for my nephew or any young person who likes to go treasure hunting outside.
